The dollar rose as much as 12% against the real, and Brazil's market lost more than $200 billion in value at the open. The iShares MSCI Brazil ETF (EWZ) fell as much as 26% in US trading. Lula won 51.79% to 48.21%, while prediction markets had given Bolsonaro about an 80% chance before the vote. Instead the company bought back about 2.07 million STRC preferred shares, paid from cash. Its holdings stay at 848,517 BTC, bought at an average of $75,446 per coin. As of October 25 it held a $4.83 billion USD Reserve and $242.4 million in cash. Strive now trails only Strategy (848,517 BTC), Metaplanet (44,000) and Twenty One (43,514), per Bitcoin Treasuries. On October 20 it closed a 7 million share SATS preferred offering that raised about $630 million before expenses. Ripple National Trust Bank will manage and act as trustee for the reserves behind RLUSD, which BNY mostly holds today, and offer custody to institutions. RLUSD itself will still be issued by Ripple's New York unit, Standard Custody & Trust Company. Ripple says it will keep working with the OCC and New York regulators as GENIUS Act rules roll out. A February report said a New York listing could raise over $1 billion, with JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies involved. RedotPay denies any IPO delay and says it has more than 8 million users. Applications are not open yet and will start after federal paperwork approval. Existing issuers that file complete applications by the deadline may get temporary waivers. The Independent Community Bankers of America is suing the OCC over trust charters granted to crypto firms. Kalshi and Polymarket become the league's preferred prediction market exchanges. Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League signed similar pacts earlier in 2026\. The NFL has not signed and is pushing the CFTC for tougher insider trading rules. That brings its two tokenized money market offerings to over £86 million. The fund stays offchain with BNY Mellon as custodian, while holdings are mirrored onchain for investors with an eligible wallet. Aviva's first tokenized share class, for its USD Liquidity Fund, went live on XRP Ledger on July 29, 2026. JPYSC launched in June 2026 as Japan's first trust bank-backed yen stablecoin, issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank and distributed by SBI VC Trade. Keystone says the key plays no role in recovery phrases, private keys or signing, so holders do not need to move funds. The main risk is counterfeit devices that pass checks. Shipments are paused until devices with a new key are ready, and Keystone warns it will never ask customers to return wallets. The suspect moved from vulnerability scanners to generative AI, an AI coding agent and an autonomous penetration testing tool in late August. Victims were asked for a combined 360 million won, about $272,000, but only one payment of 300,000 won is confirmed. One funeral services provider lost 1.22 million records. The company posted an $80.7 billion first-half net loss, mostly from a $72.4 billion fair-value charge on convertible notes, while its operating loss was $693 million. Soneium's mainnet went live in January 2025 and had processed over 500 million transactions by January 2026\. Sony Ventures put $13 million into builder Startale Group in January. Any issuance by the Soneium Foundation will depend on applicable regulation.
